| 27/11/2011 (16:30) | Madera | Muziek maken is voor Sietze Bouma (1987) een gemakkelijke keuze geweest. Opgegroeid in Leeuwarden met 2 ouders als muziekdocent. Hij pakte de gitaar op toen hij 12 was en heeft hem niet meer neergelegd. Dit heeft er tot nu toe voor gezorgd dat hij in tal van bands heeft gespeeld, een schat aan podiumervaring heeft en ontzettend mooie projecten heeft gedaan. Zo speelde hij als gitarist mee in de musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, opende hij samen met 400 blazers het Frysk Festival voor 8.000 mensen en speelde hij met onder andere Spotrockers voorprogramma’s van Leaf, Kubus & Bang Bang, Osdorp Posse, Djiggy Dje, Boris, De Dijk en meer. |

| 15th September (22:00) | MADERAMadera | De Leeuwarder formatie: MADERAMadera (Leeuwarden) is opgericht in januari 2009 en staat bekend om zijn sfeervolle akoestische optredens. Aanstekelijke liedjes van vroeger en nu worden op zeer eigenzinnige wijze gespeeld door gitarist Sietze Bouma, zanger/percussionist Kristian Dijkstra en contrabassiste Ilse de Vries. Ook eigen liedjes behoren tot het repertoire. |

Als sessie muzikant heeft hij meegewerkt aan cd opnames van o.a.: Magic Slim en Aron Burton. Al deze ervaringen zijn terug te horen op Michaels solo album: Lightnin In My Pocket uit 2006 en zijn nieuwste plaat A Fork In The Road. De laatste is door de pers van de vakbladen en de nationale en internationale radio geprezen om zijn eenvoud en fabelachtige gitaarspel. |

Be it a packed bar in the Swiss Alps, a sunny German Hotel in the Algarve, or even a Rocking stage in Copenhagen, Brian has played there! Oisín currently focuses on American blues and ‘old-time’ music: songs about women, drink, love and hardship. He also specializes in interpreting lesser known pearls from the folk tradition. |
